Thursday, August 27, 2015
At the start of the 2015-16 school year, all university ID cards are being replaced with next generation cards that are compatible with new campus technologies including electronic door locks at some residence halls and new card readers at campus dining locations. As a result, existing old ID cards have been deactivated. New cards will be made available to everyone in August 2015 in one of the following manners:
  • Residential students will receive new cards during the residence hall check-in process.
  • Commuter students should pick up new cards along with parking permits at the Public Safety office.
  • Freshmen and transfer students will receive ID cards at NSO.
  • Staff and faculty ID cards are being delivered to invididual academic and administrative departments for distribution.
Please do NOT bend, cut, or hole punch the new cards as the internal components may be damaged. Replacement of lost, stolen or damaged cards will be offered at the Public Safety office. A replacement fee of $10 may apply. Lanyards and cardholders are also available free of charge.
If you need help or have questions or have NOT received a new ID card, please visit our office during regular business hours.
